COSSA Facts:
COSSA is a cooperative for Homedale, Marsing, Notus, Parma & Wilder School Districts.
COSSA has a long-standing (40 years) commitment with the participating districts.
COSSA provides Professional-Technical Programs, Alternative Jr/Sr High School, Special Education and Gifted/Talented Services to the five participating districts utilizing shared resources.
Using shared resources has been shown to be significantly cost effective and beneficial to the districts in reducing the overall cost of providing high quality programs that would not be available to small districts independently.

COSSA annually serves over 1,100 students:
275 - Professional-Technical 600 - Special Education.
120 - Alternative Education 115 - Gifted/Talented.
COSSA employs over 100 certified and classified employees. Many of the employees are local residents of our five school districts.
97% of PTE Program graduates are employed or attending post-high school educational programs.
PTE Students earn transferable college credits (academic and professional technical) through BSU, ISU, CSI, LCSC and the U of I, while participating in COSSA programs.
COSSA provides opportunities for adult students to participate in PTE programs and earn college credits and industry certification through agreement with local colleges.
COSSA facilities are supported through funds generated through the member school districts. COSSA does not have the ability through Idaho Code to independently generate funding for facilities.
